TRiO Works

TRiO has a special place in Josh's heart. Not only is he a first-generation college student, but he also worked as an Upward Bound Advisor in Dayton, Ohio for nearly five years. During his time with UB he was heavily involved in committees on the local and state level. He helped plan the TRiO Olympics, Student Leader Conference, and more. He was also selected to take part in the 2019 Education Opportunity Association's (EOA) Emerging Leaders Institute (ELI) program.

Josh knows first hand, the uphill battle that TRiO students face. His presentations are authentic and encouraging. He motivates his audience to push through any adversity and shows them that it doesn't matter where you come from, it matters where you are going.
